The journey began on a park bench in early spring when I saw you first. I saw you in the icy cold. I saw you in the freezing rain. In the cold of the night and in the heat of the day, I saw you.

I saw you wandering. I saw you scared. At times you didn’t know how your situation could ever become better. You felt hopeless. You had no money. Nowhere to shower. No food to eat. Not even a restroom. Only a park bench would be your residence for a while.

You didn’t call on me for help because you didn’t know me. Although I had provided a Savior for you, my Son, Jesus, you said you never heard of Him. So, I found another way to you. I found a heart that is for me. I used the eyes, hands, feet, and resources of this one heart for Me through others. My heart held my plan for you, and I placed this plan within the heart of those who bear a heart for Me.

The plan was this: to get you on the Path to Better. So, through the one heart of others, you no longer wander the streets. A nice, beautiful, and safe residence was provided for you. Groceries were provided. Your rent was covered. Bedding, clothing, and streams of resources were all provided freely to aid you on your Path to Better. The only thing you needed to do was to accept it. So, if you wanted better, I would provide better for you. Your Path to Better even led you to receiving employment. You also came to learn about Me, but most importantly, you came to learn of My Son, Jesus. You were given the best news that anyone could ever receive in this present world.

Yes, they gave you My Word, the bible, bound in your favorite color, pink, with a colorful mosaic inscription of your name. But you didn’t accept it for the beauty of the book. You were told that you could come to know My Son and Me, and that I have placed value and worth on you from your mother’s womb.

Now you know “For GOD so Loved the world that HE gave….” [John 3:16].

You have been told who Jesus is, and you have begun reading My Word; you can call on Me for yourself no matter where you are. And if you continue to read My Word, it will certainly help you on The Path to Better, because I Am here for you.
